Fifth generation leadership team will lead the company’s day-to-day operations and strategic direction
September 8, 2026
By: Tara Olivo
C. G. Bretting Manufacturing Co., Inc. (Bretting) announced a series of leadership title updates and the formation of a newly established Advisory Board.
Bretting has been in business for 136 years and is now passing the torch to the fifth generation of the Bretting family. These updates reflect the values that have guided Bretting for generations and will continue to shape their future as it grows, serves its customers and supports one another.
Bretting has formed an Advisory Board comprised of seasoned leaders whose collective experience and industry knowledge will support the company’s long-term success. Members include:
Together, these leaders bring a combined 173 years of experience. As many transition toward retirement, some already in part-time roles, the Advisory Board will serve in a hands-off capacity – providing strategic guidance, perspective and mentorship to support future leadership.
Bretting also recognizes the formal roles of its G5 (Fifth Generation) Leadership Team, who will lead the company’s day-to-day operations and strategic direction:
“Each new generation brings new ideas and different ways of leading. That creates great opportunities for us to grow, improve and continue building a strong future together,” says Paul Bretting.
David Bretting adds: “Together, this balance of experience and new leadership positions us for continued innovation and strength.”
